TaskXPulse

A real-time team workspace: assignments, the Eisenhower Matrix, and workload analytics.

The interface is the live product. No screenshot is shown where one was not published.

Overview

TaskXPulse is a live team workspace. It refuses the flat to-do list: work is placed on urgent/important quadrants, and completion, workload, and priority mix stay visible.

Problem

Shared task lists record activity. They rarely force a priority decision, and they almost never show whether the team is actually finishing the important work.

Solution

One workspace with live assignments, status, and comments, an Eisenhower Matrix as the organising view, and a small analytics layer on top.

Architecture

  • Web application hosted on Firebase at taskxpulse.web.app.
  • Real-time collaboration for assignments, status, and comments.
  • Priority model fixed to the Eisenhower quadrants.
  • Analytics for completion, workload, and priority mix.

Technology stack

  • Firebase
  • Eisenhower Matrix
  • Team analytics

Features

  • Live collaboration across the team.
  • Eisenhower Matrix instead of a single backlog.
  • Workload readable without exporting to a spreadsheet.

Challenges

  • Making the matrix stricter than a tag, so urgent/important is a decision rather than a label.

Results

  • The product is live.
  • A demo note is in the resource library (Demo 7). No usage totals are published.

Lessons learned

  • A priority model only works if the interface makes the flat list inconvenient.
