Research & pharmaceutical sciences

Design, synthesis, and the evidence a structure can carry.

The research page is the M.Sc. programme and the methods around it. Nothing here is a paper that has not been published.

Research pipeline

The path of the M.Sc. series. Each step is a method already in the work, not a completed publication.

  1. 01

    Design

Scaffold choice and the medicinal-chemistry question the series is meant to answer.

  2. 02

    Synthesis

Organic and heterocyclic routes, including pyrrole and pyrrolopyrimidine intermediates.

  3. 03

    Purification

TLC and crystallization, as used to isolate the intermediates.

  4. 04

    Characterization

Melting point and the first check that the isolated solid is the intended compound.

  5. 05

    NMR

¹H and ¹³C spectra, including D₂O exchange, to decide what the molecule actually is.

  6. 06

    Computation

Docking and design methods used with the synthetic programme, not instead of it.

  7. 07

    Biological relevance

The anticancer intent of the series. No potency figures are published.

Pyrrolopyrimidine research

The centre of the M.Sc.: design and synthesis of pyrrolopyrimidine derivatives studied for potential anticancer activity.

Synthetic chemistry

Organic and heterocyclic synthesis as the experimental core — molecules made, not only modelled.

NMR characterization

Structure elucidation by NMR, including the ¹H, D₂O exchange, and ¹³C craft taught on Resonance.

Molecular design

Computer-aided design, docking, and the logic that connects a scaffold to a possible effect.

Anticancer research

The biological intent of the series. No potency numbers are published here, and none are implied.

Research interests

  • Heterocyclic scaffolds in medicinal chemistry
  • Anticancer drug discovery and structure–activity thinking
  • NMR as a method for deciding what a molecule actually is
  • Docking and dynamics used with, not instead of, synthesis
  • Pharmaceutical data — sales, operations, and research reporting
  • Scientific education that behaves like a studio

Currently investigating

  • Pyrrolopyrimidine derivatives

Synthesizing and studying the M.Sc. series aimed at potential anticancer activity.

  • Computer-aided drug design

Exploring docking and design methods alongside the synthetic programme, and teaching them in public.

  • Pharmaceutical education platforms

Keeping Opraxis, Resonance, CADD Academy, and MedChem Codex useful as living studios.
