Pharmaceutical Analytics

Inventory, trend, and operational reporting on pharmaceutical and clinical-adjacent data.

Studio plate for healthcare and pharmaceutical analytics
Studio plate from the public dossier. Not a capture of a private interface.

Overview

A documented analytics practice for pharmaceutical and healthcare operations: inventory, trend, and the reporting grammar that makes those numbers usable. It is a project record, not a claim of a named hospital deployment.

Problem

Operational pharma data is usually exported before it is understood. The question is which cuts of inventory and trend are worth a decision.

Solution

Sample reporting built with the analyst stack already used in the practice — SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI — written up as Demo 5 and the healthcare plate.

Architecture

  • Analytical layer over operational-style pharmaceutical data.
  • Reporting in Excel / Power BI, with Python and SQL for preparation.
  • Companion note: Demo 5 in the resource library.

Technology stack

  • Power BI
  • SQL
  • Python
  • Pandas
  • Excel

Features

  • Inventory and trend views.
  • Operational insight framed for a reader who is not the analyst.

Challenges

  • Keeping a demo honest: it shows the reporting grammar, not a fabricated client outcome.

Results

  • Written up as a public demo PDF and studio plate.
  • No savings, accuracy, or adoption figures are published.

Lessons learned

  • A clear grain — inventory, trend, operations — beats a dashboard of everything.
